That is wonderful!! My doctor said its easy to miss small polpys when you see a monster tumor...That's why they have you go back for Colonoscopies. Congrats on good news!! Port out is a strange but wonderful Experience...Makes you feel that much closer to putting this behind you.

I had a Lap assist so partial open procedure. Same as C section only no baby to take care of....and no hormonal rage...Get up...walk alot.....pass gas...You will do great.

Think you should ask for a consult at MSK with Dr. Kemmeny. She is the who handles metastatic disease to the Liver and does the HAI Pumps that so many members have had sucess with. Being that you live in NJ...I would push this also. Its sad that they told you this, but if she reviews it directly you...

YOur garden is always one of the most wonderful things about this web group...Always a pleasant positive surprise. ThankYou...I think Ill grow Ptatoes next year. They should grow well here on long Island.

I'm so sorry to read this...I feel like we've know each other for years. Holidays in Manhatten are fun...but Not when you are under the Gun. You always bring such a positive outlook to things. I'm a 90 min train ride to NYC you are always welcome here.

I have some similar issues. I found the Benefiber Helps a lot with a lot of water. Tigger foods are definetly raw apples, pears, grapes popcorn. Also make sure you chew your food a little extra. Greek yogurt helps daiy helps too.

The best way to help you dad is to let him rest after chemo. He's young and he's got a lot to handle. Keep drinks around for him, be supportive and keep things easy for him. He's your dad and he probably doesn't want his children to know if he is sturggling. he'll get through this. Sorry to here tha...
