I was diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer and had a resection of my right colon 7 weeks ago. Recovery was quick and easy. There were 2 tumours; 2" tumour went through the wall but did not affect lymph nodes or spread and a 1" which alone would have been a stage 1. I'm a 30 yr old female. O...

Our stories are really similar in terms of timeline and diagnosis. I meet with the oncologist on Monday to get the chemo schedule. Somehow I'm dreading this way more than surgery. But like you, I have bouts of time where I'm so happy to know I'm doing all I can. I keep telling myself to "Act li...

My saving grace through my first symptoms in January of this year, diagnosis in February, surgery in March and now starting chemo is not looking too far ahead. I take each phase as it comes to me.
