I had 2 weeks of infused 5-FU with 5 weeks of radiation prior to surgery for Stage 3 rectal tumor. The tumor was completely removed with no identifiable remaining cancer. After surgery adjunctive treatment was recommended to reduce the chances of a cancer recurrance.I just finished my 7th of 8 cycle...
