Re: Scared I have colon cancer at 17

L Lee[/quote Hi, So sorry for what you are going through. Do get that cat scan, but I would also really push for a colonoscopy. That will give you a true diagnoses of what is causing your symptoms. Please understand, many things could be causing your symptoms, cancer is just one possibility. By the...

Re: High Dose Vitamin C Questions

As we currently understand her cancer genetics she is KRAS and BRAF wild. What is her CA199, LDH, HgbA1C hsCRP or ESR ? The more blood data you have, the better you can tune these things. I have a question about high dose Vitamin C infusions (HDVC)….. I have read a number of studies on this and mos...

Re: I think i may have colon cancer

Hi all . . . Small amounts of bright red blood on stool Thank you That comment right there says you should be getting a colonoscopy REGARDLESS of age. Truth be know, it could be caused by many things including hemorrhoids, but a colonoscopy will give you a true diagnoses, anything else is just a sp...

Re: Kimberly Fund 2019

This may not apply, butt I nominate Beansmama's daughter. I don't have her info, butt I believe Writergirl does. Beansmama passed away last year (which is probably why her daughter may not be candidate), butt Beansmama's was a big present on this forum at one time. Is there not a better way to honor...

Thank you Lee. We’re you told to stop eating meat? Two of my docs told me no more meat. Ain't gonna happen. I'm a 4th generation from Montana (I live in Arizona today), butt I grew up on some pretty awesome home grown beef. Yes I eat more chicken today, butt I still love a good steak!! My DH eats b...

Re: Scanxiety is real!

What got me through, prior to a scan I would tell myself, no one know anything yet. Why stress over something that no one anything about. BUTT once I took that scan, I would let myself STRESS big time until I got the results.

Good luck, that fear is very real.

Re: Ladies what did you do with your hair during chemo?

Wow that looks pretty neat. That does look like a very wise investment.

When I was going through chemo, my hair got very frizzy, About 3 months following chemo, you could see when my hair was normal again. My hairdresser cut off all the frizz.

Re: Bowel Movement Frequency

I’ve always had a very clean diet but even with adding extra high fiber grains and veggies... I find that my body wants to do its own thing. Thoughts? Thank you! I'm wondering if the high fiber is causing the problem. Maybe try a low fiber diet for a couple of weeks and see it that helps. Spinach a...

Re: Adenoma Polyp at 20

I agree. When I was diagnosed, my brother got checked out, he was fine, not even 1 polyp. However his wife lied to a doctor said she was passing blood, got scoped, they removed a few polyps (she was 42-43). Was told to come back in about 10 years, she decided to only wait 3 years, they scoped her ag...

Lee, in all of the time I've spent googling and reading about CRC I have never come across a site advocating fasting, peach pits, or whatever the latest nonsense is. ) Okay You have a right to your opinion, butt here is mine. I see that you were diagnosed at age 64, me, I was 46. That age differenc...
