Like Jacques mentioned above, there is a short course radiation option that you may be a candidate for (I believe they told my mom she qualified because the cancer had not spread through the fascia? Anyway, it was 5 days vs 5 weeks and she said it was by far the easiest part of her treatment. She we...

Great news that your liver and lungs are clear! What are your next steps? My mom was a T3N2M0 as well and they suggested total neoadjuvant therapy where you get your chemo upfront to start to attack any potential spread that just may not be visible. I’m so sorry that you are going through this right now and it is very scary with all the unknowns—the best thing you can do now is find a major cancer center near you, find a board certified colorectal surgeon, and familiarize yourself with the TNM staging system they use to stage colorectal cancer....

Thank you all. Really trying to not dwell on it during the holidays and just pray it ends up being nothing but in the meantime not let it ruin the “now”. Easier said than done for sure but I’m trying.
