right side pain under ribs

Hello, I seem to be have twinges of pain in my right side. It comes and goes. Once it happened really sharply when I took a deep breath. My question is- did any of you who had liver mets have pain in that area prior to finding them? I find it hard not to worry about every pain I feel. I’ve been on p...

Re: Dumb neuropathy "improvement" question

I’ve been done with folfox for a year. My neuropathy has improved. I did notice a time period where I thought it was getting worse. A worse before better kind of thing. I had all the issues you described and that has all improved. My feel will feel numb when I first wake up, and the very tips of my ...

Re: Can you go on like normal

Hi Trying, I struggle daily with fear, and what now seems to be depression. I’ve started seeing a therapist which has helped. And am about to start some medication. Hoping that will help. I’ve heard some say it gets easier as the years pass... getting closer to the 5 year mark. I wish we all didn’t ...

Re: 3C Recently Diagnosed - need support

Hello, Sorry to hear you have a reason to be on this forum, but it is a good spot for support. For me the effects did get worse with each treatment cycle, but I tried to walk each day and stay on top of the nausea with meds. Rest when you need to. Sleep sleep sleep. Lee is such a ray of hope with ho...

Rectal Bleeding causing fear

Hey all, I am 2.5 weeks past a hernia repair surgery. I am noticing rectal bleeding which I have not had since prior to my diagnosis 6/9/17. It is bright red, so does not appear to be internal bleeding. There was slight constipation throughout my recovery due to pain pills, but nothing major. This b...

Re: Had endoscopy, lesions found. Also hernia surgery this Thursday

Hi BS- I am recovering well. Surgery was last week. My hernia was large enough that the surgeon felt mesh was needed. I was nervous about it but am hoping there will be no issues. She is well known in this area and seems to know her stuff so I’ll just have to trust. Susie- good to hear that yours is...

Re: Constipation after Sigmoid Colectomy

Miss molly offers a lot of good tips! I have nothing to add except to say that I had the same trouble for awhile- it eventually gets better, especially if you are using some of these tips listed.
Make sure to drink enough water too!

Had endoscopy, lesions found. Also hernia surgery this Thursday

Hi all, Just an update- I had an endoscopy and the dr. said he found “lesions” and wants me on prescription Pepcid for 3 months. I do not remember even talking to the doc (propofol, haha). My friend was there to hear the info. The term lesion scares me, but my friend said he did not mention cancer a...

Re: I had to give up driving my car....

Mobrouser, Sorry to hear this- I’m sure it’s frustrating. I wanted to offer my story- It’s been almost a year since I finished chemo. I noticed that my neuropathy got a bit worse before it got better. It was my whole foot, but now it’s just the toes. I did have acupuncture- not sure if that helped, ...
