I had the same situation. CEA steadily arising for five months with clean scans. Finally, at 6 months the CT still read clear but the PET showed peritoneal mets. I hope this is not your situation. mhalpin12, Localyokal I am going through the same thing as you guys. My CEA is elevated at 6.8 then a month later 7.1. No not a smoker anymore quit a year ago. It shouldn't have any effect anymore right?

Thanks Jay. Yes, it broke out of the colon wall. Surgeon said she saw it heading towards stomach.

Thanks for responding. My liver enzymes are within normal ranges but barely. I hope my scans would be clear too.

Bilirubin - 0.5

Measurement is U/L

Alkaline Phosphate - 98 (117 normal)
ALT - 35 (36 normal)
AST - 38 (40 normal)
