Re: Larry has an eviction date!!!

My dear friend, I read your note to me several times and I am so thrilled that you finally have a surgery date! I am praying for you and will place you in our wider prayer circle as well. I know that you are "cowgirl tough" and can beat Larry and anything he throws at you. I do have a pair...

EMR One-year check up

I have been watching everyone more quietly this summer. I have also grieved the losses such as dear, dear Brown Bagger. Now it is my turn again to step up to the plate and I miss the sage advice of the well known "old timers" who guided me with such compassion. I think that may I have beco...

Here's praying for a good scan and some patience for the long wait. I always hate the waiting more than the tests etc. Hang in there girl!

Re: Strange question - possibly TMI

OK. So I am taking your concern seriously Butt the comment about the corn made me laugh. We all need to laugh. I would also strongly advise you to discuss with your physician. The Buttom line is that you don't know what it was. I am still smiling wondering a) how did you find it ? and b) how did you...

Re: High CEA reason for ct scans being moved up

I agree with Lee about unusual jump. We can say "don't worry" but that is very hard to do. Try to focus on nurturing yourself while waiting on the scan and do something fun. I always figure I will be very good to myself just because I have to endure another procedure  . It does help a...

This news took me my surprise. Maybe denial is a better word. So much respect and admiration for BB. He lived every moment. Prayers for all who loved him. He is missed.

Hey Darkness!
I am sorry you have to worry about your CT scan. It would make me nervous too and we always say that waiting is the worst part. Keep us posted after tomorrow and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Re: Beansmama Checking in

Now I know why you have been constantly on my mind. I feel disbelief so I can't imagine how hard this has been and is for you. I am so encouraged to hear about the treatment though! You are so loved and supported by so many. I think you may be the strongest person I know. Take care of yourself and t...

Re: CURED!

So happy to read this! Congrats seems like too small a message.

Isaiah 40:31

" but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

God Bless!

Re: polyp-awaiting second opinion-colectomy vs endoscopic submucosal dissection

CRguy and Miss Molly are the best and I always take their advice seriously. All I can offer is a similar experience. I started in a smaller town with routine colonoscopy, history of polyps. The mass in my ascending colon was too large to remove and they scheduled hemi-colectomy. I sought second opin...

Re: New cluster in lungs?

Was so concerned to see your post but hang in there. I have had pulmonary nodules for 8 years. They grow a little, they shrink, mostly they stay the same. Mine have been identified as granulomatous and probably infectious or inflammatory in nature. So we just check them. No problems yet and I am of ...

Re: Mom gained her angel wings

I am so sorry for your loss and I will be sure to include your Mother in my prayers. It was kind of you to share her Saint's name. You may not realize it yet but you gave your Mother the most wonderful gift we can share with those we love. You were there walking with her and she knew that she was lo...
