My angel husband passed away

I haven’t posted here in awhile but wanted to let everyone know my husband Nick Katsaros passed away in December 2020 after a 5 year and 1 month battle at the age of 46. Unfortunately the cancer traveled to his spinal fluid and that ultimately took his life. Keep fighting everyone! He wanted so much...

Geez. DH is in the same boat. Clear CT in May and we are now dealing with a brain met (removed 2 weeks ago), spinal mets (being radiated), femur mets (hip replaced 2 weeks ago) and pelvic mets. Get a good plan and start fighting!

Thanks for all the support everyone ❤️ JulieJ and everyone. They also found a met on his spine and hip. So brain surgery tomorrow followed by hip replacement next week. The spine met will be hit with radiation. Amazingly all organs are clear. The doctors at MSK truly amaze me. It was like no sweat, ...

Brain metastasis

Sending this in complete shock. After a clear scan in May, DH was diagnosed with a 3.5 cm brain metastasis yesterday. Only symptom was some headaches that started last week.

Anyone have something similar happen?

This seems like a manageable recurrence that can be removed with some surgery and mop-up chemo. Prayers to them this is all it is.

DH is coming up on 3 years since diagnosis, currently NED. Colon and liver resection, 6 months is chemo. Recurrence in both lungs and double lung surgery. NED since surgery in January 2018.

Great news! Congratulations. What type of surgery was utilized on the lungs. (Vats, etc). Thanks I am not sure. I know they did a few wedge resections and did take an entire lobe from the right. He lost about 35 percent lung capacity. We are told his body will adjust to it and we slowly see it happ...

Stage IV...NED....AGAIN

DH is NED 4 months after his last lung surgery. 5 lung nodules removed between the left and right lung.

Hoping for a nice long stretch this time or even NED forever!

Awesome news! Any idea how to get a hold of dr. Lin? DH is clear since lung surgery but thinking this protocol is worth some looking into.

DH had the same after lung surgery. Coughing fits and a constant drip. Claritin helped a lot and luckily it’s not resolved.
