Re: Withering away without help

I wont post here anymore, but I read the replies and wanted to respond one last time. It was not my intention to offend anyone in anyway. I genuinely apologize if I did. My symptoms are real, and I certainly wasn't playing any sort of 'prank'. Im unsure what the 'prank' would be? I am a good person ...

Re: Withering away without help

Great news, the result came back as 'normal colon'.

I am obviously very relieved. I will have to continue to work with my Doctors to find out why Ive been so ill, but this is a huge weight off my shoulders.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words and advice!

Re: Withering away without help

Sorry if that rubbed some people the wrong way. I should not be self-diagnosing.

I wont post anymore until I get the results of the colonoscopy. If it is bad, I would hope to continue to post as this is a great resource. Thanks everyone for the help so far.

I live in the US btw (SoCal)

Re: Withering away without help

Weiss, Thanks for the long response. I think many of my symptoms resemble CC. Blood in stools/flat-ribbon stools, night sweats, abdominal pain, painful defecation. The other symptoms Ive listed are more 'general', but certainly could be attributed to most malignancies. Really, I was hoping the ER co...

Im actually just recently starting on meds for depression. Depression has never been a main focul part of my li...

Thanks for the responses everyone. I will try to address everyones response as I have nothing better to do bc I cant move from bed. First I wanna talk about what happened yesterday, as it was very scary. Yesterday morning I began getting very confused and felt like passing out. I knew where I was, b...

Re: Withering away without help

Wow. That was an incredibly thoughtful and insightful reply. I truly appreciate that. I am a non-smoker and it was the Roche test. In fairness it was within the normal range listed for LabCorp. However, I did see a study where 97% of "healthy" people will have a CEA of <2.5. Maybe that was...
