Re: oxaliplatin side effects - 9 years after treatment

Has anyone experienced professional massage of the hands and feet helping with neuropathy, at least temporarily? HI, I often have a massage of hands and feet or reflexology. It helps but so far only temporarily (hours max). It's still worth it even if just for a short relief. I have to say however ...

Testing on Tuesday

Hi, I haven't been here for a while and I hope you all forgive me that I am not here when things are relatively well. I am sorry about this. Re: Life after treatment

Hi, I finished my treatment 6 months ago and I did so much travelling. I went to Vegas, Montreal with my husband, Costa Rica and Orlando with my son and Cyprus with everyone. But, I booked everything only after a clear scan and only for dates that are before the next scan. I don't dare to book anyth...

HI, I wonder if you could help me. I finished Folfox 2 months ago and during the treatment my Neuropathy wasn't so bad and in fact when going to my 12th treatment, I had nothing, no symptoms at all. This means that I had full dose for the entire treatment. However, Now I have symptoms that keep gett...

Re: life after chemo

There are no restrictions officially but the fact is that if I run or play tennis, the area around the port hurts. It prob moves and touches a nerve or something but it's just the way it is.

Re: life after chemo

Thank you for the responses. I guess there is nothing to do about the fear from scans. But I need a plan for the day after. What do I do? I cannot do the same sports I did before because of the port ( tennis and running). What do you guys do? Please tell me more what you guys did. I guess I am not l...

life after chemo

Next week I am going to have the 12th and hopefully last chemo session. two weeks after I have a pet CT scheduled with results the following day. I am soooo scared. First, from the results. Second, from the idea that if anything is left it will now grow without disturbance. Third, I keep reading how...

Re: BAD NEUROPATHY IN FEET

I am currently on the 11th run of Folfox and have been doing reflexology and acupuncture twice a week for the last three months. The nurses think that the reflexology is the reason I have very very mild neuropathy in feet. I have a bit more in my hands but not too bad. I am still under oxaliplatin s...

Re: Expecting the worst but hoping for the best

I don't know if it's useful information for anyone but herpes can also cause swollen lymph nodes that look like cancer on pet ct.
I had to have a biopsy to determine it's not cancer.

tumor budding present

Hi,
Does anyone knows what "tumor budding present" means and what are the implications of it?
It is stated in my Biopsy next to level of differentiation.

Thanks,
Tali
