I had a gallbladder scan (forgot the name of it) a couple of years ago and there was nothing at all abnormal with my gallbladder function.

I have yet to have anyone look into it. I have an appointment with Dr. Dillon at the University of Iowa in May and he is an Endocrinologist with a specialty in neuroendocrinology. I lot of my symptoms match pheochromocytoma or carcinoma. I might send a message to my regular physician's office to see...

Results were negative; however upon reading the pathology report, the "random" biopsies were not from the areas noted on my ct scan. Go figure!

I have some odd labs, negative colonoscopy/upper endoscopy, ct scan showed areas of fatty infiltration and lymph enlargement in my colon, symptoms are many but primarily abdominal pain, flank pain, bloating, weight gain, chronic diarrhea upon eating anything, ...

8 days since my procedure.... still no biopsy results.

In what I thought was an unrelated cardiology visit yesterday - it is mildly suspected that I may have a carcinoid tumor or pheochromocytoma.... now also awaiting those blood tests.

Sigh....

How long does it generally take for random biopsies results to be available?

I had my colonoscopy/endoscopy last Thursday... I would have thought my results would have been posted by now...

I have had a constant fever (99.5 - 100.8 ) since my colonoscopy/endoscopy 5 days ago. I called the GI resident on call on Saturday and he said no big deal if I had no pain.

Is this normal? (also no word on multiple biopsies)

Noted in my endoscopy/colonoscopy notes is "mild antritis biopsies taken". What is antritis? Seriously cannot find a definition of this anywhere in relation to endoscopy or colonoscopy.... ?
