Re: If you want prayer stop in here!

A few days ago I was in the hospital and couldn’t pee, they had already Foley cathd be twice and straight cathd my 3 times. I hurt bad and asked for help on a different thread. Somebody saw it and said a prayer for me, 20 minutes later I was going on my own and now I’m home, away from the hospital. ...

Re: ...progression...

The first bad scan in the last 15 months. More pronounced spots that the radiologist defined as a likely progression some areas comparing to a scan in March do not even register anymore and others are super bright. There was talk of a change in systemic, the radiologist met with our oncologist to d...

Re: daily enema HELP

Lots of good advice in here, i want to warn the community of the other outcome of this horrible path, blockages. I’ve messed up and spent the last week in the hospital with an emergency surgery to remove a blockage. These things hurt like hell and there was nothing I could have done on my own to re...

Re: Max out on FOLFIRI?

My husband recently completed his 27tx. Of these, 12 were FOLFOX, the rest (13) FOLFIRI + Avastin. (He also did 1 month of xeloda while getting radiation). Can anyone share how many FOLFIRI tx they received before it quit working and what was used as 3rd line. Most recent scan showed cancer in lung...

Re: Bucket List

The other bucket list item was to go to the beach with my family, my sister, her husband and 8 kids (no typo) met us at the Catamaran resort in San Diego. I will go to this hotel again, it was epic. Anywho, here’s a pic of me and the wife, my rock. Check out the pic I put in “Take me away” thread as...

Taking off out of a base in Hawaii. Not me, a good friend, but I’ve done it a ton of times. One of my special places.

Re: "Second line" treatment for EGFR rash?

Went to the dermatologist at the start of this week and wanted to update this in case anyone searches in the future. She prescribed a stronger steroid cream - Clobetasol - and asked me to use it twice daily for two weeks. Then hopefully it will get knocked back enough to be maintained with Desoxime...

Re: Bucket List

I am familiar with high flight, I taught pilot training for 4 years in the T-38 and every graduation the poem is sung like a song. Thanks Green Tea.

I don’t see why this couldn’t be the sites bucket list thread, can’t really take ownership of a website!

Re: Bucket List

Pyro - This was two years ago. When I see that line-up again, without my dad this time, I’ll think of you in that background, and that the thrill up there was merely a glimpse of Heaven. Just prayed for a miracle for you and my husband and the “BrokenWings” writer on here. We need miracles. https:/...

..Top Gun 2 is done filming, if not it’s close, due for release in almost exactly a year. I have friends in the industry, I’m willing to bet I have a pretty good chance of seeing it early. Pyro, Love seeing you in that car! :) The quote above made me wonder? I believe you wrote a while back that yo...

Re: Bucket List

Good luck getting an early screening; that would be the best! I'm sure it's nothing to you but I'm going to take a 3-day RWD rally driving class at Dirtfish this fall. I have driven a Prius for 12+ years, but I grew up with a dad who loved fast cars, and I want to learn how to drive on other kinds ...

Re: Bucket List

It’s Tucson airport, Tucson Air National Guard base, I think they just renamed it Morris Air National Guard base or something similar. Our cops were great! The airport isn’t in the best part of town but they always had our backs and were very friendly, I never doubted their willingness to do their j...
