He can't rest his arm on the window when driving for more than 10 minutes he's just sent my heart racing talking about pain in his (left) arm that had me thinking heart attack. Can s...

Re: Trying Keytruda Off-Label (MSS with a Twist)

UPDATE: I had one treatment and 3 weeks later my CEA has gone from 39.4 to 60.1....so I am thinking that Keytruda is not working for me. I had my second treatment but I don't expect it to help. (MY oncologist said it may be too early to make that determination...). Just wanted to update you all on ...

Re: CAR-T Immunotherapy Eliminates Metastatic Colorectal Cancer in Mice

I believe this is different. The one at Stanford utilizes 2 immunotherapy drugs in combination. This one basically grows yo...

Re: Can someone who is stage 4 really end stage still benifit from Keytruda?

Stage 4 here... I am on keytruda. it has worked wonders for me to say the least.
not cured yet... but the difference between past therapies and keytruda are night and day.
My opinion would be to push hard for it...
having MMR signature is lucky.
there are numerous success stories here about it.

Re: spots on liver on CT scan

MRI is usually better for liver scans. It just sees liver tissue better than CT.

Re: Stage 4 colon Cancer Please read and help me as confused

Do they know what the gene mutation is? That could be a clue as to what clinical trials might be available. I do not know how that stuff works in England but some of the trials in the US are based off of the mutation. I think it’s not a mutation gene which he said was a good sign in October 16 Is t...

Re: Stage 4 colon Cancer Please read and help me as confused

If I am not mistaken, "locally advanced" for Rectal Cancer means it the cancer has penetrated the rectum muscles. It does not need to go to distant areas for it to be considered "locally advanced stage 4" I have taken Folfox with Avastin I also have taken Irinotecan as a single a...
