That's exactly where I am having had a clear scan last week and have been reminded that the rise can be for a number of reasons, most likely inflammation. I like the advice to not worry and keep an eye on the trend.

NED but rising CEA

I just got NED results on Pet and CT scans this week but CEA rose from 4.3 to 6.1 in 2 weeks. I've had severe chest pains caused by neulasta so am hoping my increased CEA is a result of inflammation not something more sinister, but difficult not to worry about it! Anyone else had a similar experienc...

I fasted through 12 cycles of irinotecan and avastin and found that I had greatly reduced side effects to those that I was warned of, mainly fatigue and diarrhea. I fasted 36 hours prior to treatment plus the day of and broke the fast on the third day, so somewhere between 60 and 72 hours altogether...
