Re: MSK liver surgeon

Dr. D'A was my surgeon in 2015 and 2016. NED since 2016, starting with 10+ liver mets. I really love him, highly knowledgeable, compassionate, great hands.

Re: Cured it is then !

I thought exactly the same. All old gang. :) Good to see you. My kids are almost 12. I need to change my signature. Last year was busy with all the homeschooling pros and cons. My kids are in hybrid learning at this point. My next appointment is nearing. It has been almost 5 years since my past surg...

FOLFIRINOX/FOLFOXIRI is the same chemo I had as first choice of chemo. It gave me complete pathological response and hope.

Re: My fiance , 33, gets Stage 4 diagnosis...

Hi! I am one of Dr. Kemeny's patients. I got diagnosed in June 2015 with 10+ mets in my liver. I recommend second opinion at MSKCC, Dr. Kemeny truly saved my life. I have been NED since 05/2016, off chemo, living my normal life. There is many of us, pumpers, now. We have facebook group where you can...

Re: another HAI pump question and a short rant...

Hi! When I got diagnosed in June 2015 almost without symptoms; I was living happy, active life in Europe. My husband, who worked in the States called Dr. Kemeny's office for me. ( I was reading forums to find a trace of hope since I was given zero chance to survive past 2 years on chemo, and 3 month...

Re: another HAI pump question and a short rant...

Hi! I had tumors all over the liver as well, badly located near important structures. The largest was 7.5cm. I was told by 3 oncologists that there is zero chance for me. I signed a consent form for palliative chemo. I found an info about Dr. Kemeny and HAI pump reading online forums. I ended up hav...

Re: For those who have had HAI pump .. I have a question

Good Luck! It sounds like perfect candidate for HAI. I met Dr. Kemeny in August 2015 with 10+ liver mets, no further spread. I am doing well, NED off chemo since 05/2016.

Additionally, my husband got furloughed and only God knows, how long we will keep the insurance, and when he gets another job with decent bene...
