Re: New and husband just diagnosed

2 1\2 years ago the doc told me I had 3 to 4 months to live, surgery was not an option. I'm still here today in remission from stage 4! It's early in the game for you so take it a day at a time!

Re: New member.

I'll be your friend! Good luck on your journey! I'm in the medical field also so I know what you mean about everyone thinks you know a lot more than a non medical person. I just flat admit to them I don't know when I don't know. I've learned a lot in my 2 years!

Re: FamiIy and friends on a bad week

I agree with brenda...that statement lets them know you're not feeling good but it also eases their mind that you're sure you'll feel better soon.

I have permanent neuropathy but it's not terribly bad...just a tingling feeling all the time. I did monitor how bad it was as I went thro...

Re: Starting Folfox and Avastin tomorrow

Good luck to you! I had the folfox plus avastin. I consider myself extremely lucky . Originally my stage 4 was inoperable but the folfox and avastin kicked butt! The effects are cumulative, the first few were fine, I still worked while getting them. Gradually fatigue gets worse, especially 2 days af...
