Thanks lpas. I am glad you are doing well too. I am really celebrating, i am lucky to be among those who get to survive it, at least for a while. It's the luck of the draw.

Hi Amelia's mama, i know this is an insane time, out of this world but there is hope. Once you start treatment, you will feel much better physically and emotionally. I know someone with significannt spread and who is still here 7 years later.

Big hug xx

I have found out since that i have a faulty gene , a rare one, called chek2, which basically leaves me less protected aga...

Re: Liver question

Thank you all. Occasionally i worry that something is wrong, wherever i happen to feel something different. Maybe it's just stress. I have scan soon, we'll see what's up. Hopefully nothing.

Liver question

Hello,
I was wondering if those who had liver cancer or liver mets had any symptoms before diagnosis or you just found out at scanning.

Thanks!!

I just wanted to say that I am now 2 years since rectal surgery and i am cancer free. In my scan in May, there were a couple of lung spots under watch (i had a bad cold when i was scanned) but 4 months later the scan is clear. I have a rare genetic mutation which predisposes me to multiple cancers,...

Re: Just told I have a mass in rectum

It is in the rectum. I was told that I would not need a bag because of the location. Thank you so much for all the information, I've been reading as I can. It's so much to take in. It's so hard. But reading the post here has really helped. Oncologist on Tuesday. PET on Thursday Thanks Hi Kathy, Thi...

Re: I heart FOLFOX
