Went well at transfusion. Home by 12:30 and just blah. By 5:00, nausea and headache kicked in. Miserable despite 3 anti nausea meds given with infusion. Took the 2 additional home meds with some relief of nausea but headache is still here. Is this normal side effect?

Great news. Take it and run is my thoughts. Sounds like some celebration is in order. Maybe a nice night out or even a trip?? You both deserve it.
