Re: High Grade Dysplasia

Hi there, Personally I had a large polyp that first showed low grade dysplasia then high grade dysplasia on biopsy.I don't mean to scare you but when they removed it via a lower anterior resection it was a stage 3 cancer. Have they removed the whole thing? Or is this just a biopsy? Personally knowin...

Desmoid tumour anyone?

Hi everyone, I've not posted for a long time but I read every day. A little history - diagnosed stage 3 Nov 13 ct scan in Jan 16 shows what they think is a large para aortic mass, have hipec Feb 16. Histology report shows it is in fact a Desmoid, incredibly rare and i was wondering if anyone has any...

Para aortic mass

Hi there I was given the devastating news that my cancer had returned to the para aortic lymph nodes and i have quite a large mass. I was referred to another surgeon, a hipec surgeon. He's willing to 'try' and remove it but obviously it's tricky and it's already squashed my ureter ( I'm having a nep...

Re: Thread for January scans

Unfortunately my scan shows the cancer is back, in my pelvis and wrapped around my left ureter and squashing my kidney. Devastating doesn't even come close to how we feel, I have 2 girls 10 and 6. I hope you all have better news.

Re: Low Rectal adenoma high grade dysplasia-lost

I dont mean to scare you but I had my first colonoscopy Feb 13, they found a 3 cm adenoma they took a biopsy which showed low grade dysplasia in March 13 they attempted Emr but couldn'...

Re: Thread for January scans

HI, I had my scan on Saturday. I'm about 26 months out from my original op. It's also my 2 yr scan so significant and I don't have a good feeling about it. Been having some aches and pains in my side/shoulder, just trying to get through this week and trying to figure out how I'm going to walk into '...
