Re: Deciding if I should take Irinotecan and Cyramza

Irinotecan is not giving me any diarrhea trouble, and very little tingles in my hands, usually it's with warm or hot water that I may feel a bit of tingles. Mostly it's sleepiness for me. My vision has also gotten worse, but I've been on it for a year now. I didn't notice change in vision right away...

Re: Deciding if I should take Irinotecan and Cyramza

I don't have experience with rejecting oncologists suggested treatment, but I can share with you that irinotecan as part of my folfiri cocktail has been helping keep me stable for over a year and the side effects for me have been tolerable. I'm still able to work part time in a desk job that require...

Re: O/t Anyone familiar with eye cancer?

They did some vision tests and an ultrasound (?!) for my dad's eyes today and confirmed it's nothing to worry about!! They said it's a freckle behind his eye?! He has do have a followup in a year to check on it and see that it's made no changes but they think it's been there a while. His last eye ch...

Re: O/t Anyone familiar with eye cancer?

Thank you CR, DE and Cdndaughter, I'll post with an update tomorrow with whatever news they get. I'll be at work but my older brother is coming in to town tonight so he can drive them in the morning. They were told to expect to be there 3-5 hours. My fingers and toes are crossed.

O/t Anyone familiar with eye cancer?

my ct scan this week showed continued stability, still no lung and liver involvement for which I'm grateful. It's just in my abdomen wall and some lymph nodes. But I got worrying news about my dad. When he went for an eye checkup to get new glasses, they found something behind his eye. He has a past...

No liver or lung mets.just lymph nodes and abdominal wall mets. My current issue: I'm on 100mg of morphine a day and doctor wants me to try and ...

Re: Cure for chronic fecal impaction

Going to my Gi surgeon Friday for fecal disimpaction. I hope it helps get rid of this bloated feeling and the leakage I'm having. Of course he is limited by what he can reach with his finger. I have a loop ileostomy and he suggested going forward that I try enemas from the top down. Not too keen on ...
