I've read that passing mucus means there is inflammation in the colon. Inflammation can occur for a variety of reasons that are cancer related. I would talk to your doctor.*hugs*

Yes I would assume that I would have tumor marker blood tests and ct scans in 2019 when it will be 5 years since diagnosis. My resection surgeon's office wrote back to me and said that after 5 years I will no longer have ct scans, tumor marker blood tests and will have colonoscopies every 5 years. I asked for oncotype testing and was told that it was only for breast cancer so it wasn't done. I was tested for Lynch Syndrome and MAP, both tests came back negative. I'm in New Brunswick.
