wow, thank you so much everybody. I was in a bit more of a 'funk' when I posted this, and having gotten myself to a 'good place' mentally the past couple of days (rare hot sunny days in normally dreary London may have helped?!) I was a bit afraid to check in again in fear of sliding down the slipper...

Hi, It's been incredible to find this website/board via a friend. The community is so supportive and friendly and active. Despite not being medical opinions everyone seems to be reasoned and intelligent and reasistic (minimal talk of God and carrot juice cure-alls etc like the rest of the internet.....
