Re: Chemo Brain Help?

Really, after 43 years in my trade, I don't forget how to do what I do, but I am less patient to those that think they know more, and have learned to pay less attention to what they say. In other words, it's no longer my cause to give advice, that will be discarded! I have learned to concentrate on...

Re: Chemo Brain Help?

I feel your pain. I still have chemo brain 8 years later. Pre-chemo I had no memory issues, great attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Now I'm left blankly staring while in mid conversation searching for the word I want to use. I also feel like I have full on ADD as it takes so much energ...

Chemo Brain Help?

I searched the forum a bit and see a lot of you guys joking about something that drives me crazy...and I joke about too. Chemo brain. I am a District Manager of a very large construction company (one of the top 5 in North America) and my ability to keep things straight at that level has been dramati...

Colonoscopy while irrigating.

Aloha family of baggers! It has been a long time since I've been here but had a question I thought someone here might be able to help with. I am now 2 years since I was given the bagger upgrade :D I am back in Honolulu working and living a pretty normal life and irrigating every other day. Very few ...

Re: Mis diagnosis?

I'm just wondering about the kangen water? The rest is spilled milk, you're alive and well. We've been down that road on this board Kenny. it got bumpy. I know! Ha. :D I purchased a case of "real water" that stuff came in at about 8.00 a gallon. I bought the machine and cr...

Re: Mis diagnosis?

This is not going to be popular on this site and I know it is too late for you. At diagnosis I had a 4 cm polyploid mass very close to my anus. The GI sent me to his partner for an endorectal ultrasound after a PET that only showed the tumor as lighting up First the dude told me my name was Gibson,...

Re: Mis diagnosis?

Dave - to try and clear this up for you, do you have the original pathology report from the colonoscopy biopsy? Do you also have a copy of the ultrasound? I would highly suggest that you get copies of each and every test that you have had thus far and start a binder, complete with dividers to keep ...

Re: Mis diagnosis?

Ok I can answer this for you. You were staged, as many rectal cancer patients are, before you had an operation to remove the cancer. Also, as is more common in rectal cancer than colon cancer you had treatment before they operated on you which made the biopsies of the lymph nodes etc a moot point s...

I'm living well as far as the bag. Do you irrigate?

I was. Had an explosion out the cap at work. Looked like I'd been shot with a crap shotgun. Traumatic. Irrigating and wearing a bag now.

Re: Mis diagnosis?

What kind of tests have they done to diagnose 3 lymphnodes? Hello Lydia. Just the radiology CT scans. I don't remember all of it. With the Oxycontin and Oxycodone its all kind of a blur. One tumor was on my anal verge muscle so there was some extreme pain involved. :? Thanks for the replies! My con...

Mis diagnosis?

Been awhile folks! Back in Hawaii building high rises but I keep reading my pathology report and am really confused. I was told I had Stage III C colorectal cancer and they removed my anus, descending colon and quite a bit of the transverse. My confusion comes from reading that there was no perforat...
