Re: Higher Vitamin D levels and colorectal cancer survival

There is a book written about taking vitamin D to help against cancer. I cant recall the name right now, but my dads GP recommended that we look into it when my dad was taking treatments, he said if it was him he would be on it. It was excessive amounts, but you needed to take vitamin K to help with...

Re: O/t Anyone familiar with eye cancer?

my aunt had what I believe was melanoma behind her eye. She had radiation and now has blurry vision in that eye. I know she had something done, I am sorry my brain was on my dad at the time so can't recall exactly what it was, but had to keep her head down, so no reading, watching tv or anything for...

Re: The Grim Reaper took another swipe at me !!

Nice to hear from you! You will have good and bad days. My mom called me the other day crying because she found a tub of popcorn and didn't know what to do with it as dad was the one that would make popcorn, not her. I told her make the fancy stuff for everyone for Christmas like her and dad used to...

Re: The Grim Reaper took another swipe at me !!

Hugs Diane! I hope the family keeps in touch with you. You were a big part of their dads life, thus their lives! That being said, I know from personal experience that a death can really do a number on a family. You see peoples true colors, or maybe you just take off the blinders you have been wearin...

Re: The Grim Reaper took another swipe at me !!

Isn't this heat nasty!! My area of Alberta has been in the heat wave for a few weeks now. We have not had any rain to speak of for over a month. I do believe!!! Mom and I went to Kelowna to visit family a few weeks ago. They were so worried about the smoke bothering my mom at her age. It cleared the...

Re: O/T They Say Things Come In Threes...Update

My dear friend, my heart hurts for you and what you are dealing with. I didn't realize Chloe was your first dog!! We have had so many furbabies in our lives on the farm here and everyone hurts to loose. I am afraid that I have become a tad bit too attached to the two I have now that I call mine so I...

So sorry to hear all of your news BS. So thankful your friends husband got help fast. My neighbor passed away 7-8 years ago to pancreatic cancer. So sorry to hear things are not going well for Frenchie. That is so hard when the medicine that helps with the pain causes other issues. I hope they can get things sorted out for him to give him some relief. I am not exactly sure where you live, but would he be able to get home care in to help you o...
