Re: Blockage

I am so very sorry you didn't get more time with your beloved wife. Your love for her shone through in all of your posts. Cancer is so unfair.

I use Curaphen by Euromedica. It has botswelia to increase the bioavailability. Got it on the advice of my ND.

Re: Sigmoidoscopy - will it hurt?

I've had several, and the worst one for me was the saline enema on my raw skin where my rectal tumor was. The scopes really aren't painful. The tool itself isn't too big. Good luck!

Re: strange urgency

I noticed that I have those episodes if I injest ANY caffeine. Doesn't happen right away, but does happen. Have you been eating more chocolate? Drinking more tea? Having an extra coffee? All normal winter activities, but lead to accidents for me.

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like a hard situation, but definitely making the best of it. Sounds like if you have any kids they may warrant some genetic testing.

I am so sad for you. I hope that you get to spend time with your father, and that he is not in pain. You tried so hard, and I'm sure he appreciates your efforts

Re: Newly Diagnosed

Hi, I had a very low rectal tumor. The surgeon at the HMO said APR, permanent colostomy, no other option. Board certified colorectal surgeon at NCI center said 80% chance of LAR and reconnect. Third opinion is very accomplished surgeon and said "no problem". I changed order of treatment an...

This saddens me greatly. Carmen was always so generous with her information. My condolences to all who loved her. Rest in peace, and suffer no more.

Re: Still Anemic

Hi Denise, I don't know if it's normal, but I am 7 months out from treatment and still anemic. Hysterectomy here, as well. The doctors don't seem too concerned.
, told me to take some iron.
