Re: STIVARGA (Regorafenib) - ONGOING PATIENT EXPERIENCES

The itchiness of the rash that took over my body (as well as the combination of other side effects) was almost as bad as the Hand/Foot syndrome for a time. The doctor said to take Benadryl but it couldn't touch it. Haven't seen much talk about the rash online but in my case, it came on severely just...

Re: STIVARGA (Regorafenib) - ONGOING PATIENT EXPERIENCES

Hi again, I read this entire thread before starting Stivarga as well as much on the internet. I tried to ward off Hand/Foot Syndrome with lotion, booties, etc, but when it attacked as I mentioned above, it was so intense and severe and the pain increased so suddenly that I realized my efforts in my ...

Re: STIVARGA (Regorafenib) - ONGOING PATIENT EXPERIENCES

Sharon, Good to hear from you! I am so sorry to hear about the new brain met. Praying treatment is a huge success! Hoping you don't have symptoms to weigh you down. Glad you are tolerating Stivarga and that you don't seem to have much h/f syndrome. I know the tongue sores must have been hard. So ter...

Re: STIVARGA (Regorafenib) - ONGOING PATIENT EXPERIENCES

Hi All, Here is an update of my experiences during week one of my Stivarga treatment. Not expecting such a quick onset, but hand-foot syndrome became a factor by day three. Experienced soreness, redness and tenderness of feet, especially in area affected by h/f syndrome during previous chemos. My sk...

Re: Discussions about Death

Dear All, Wanted to share my faith and hope in Jesus Christ with you. In John 3:16, the Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." I believe in Jesus with all my heart. I've heard his v...

Re: STIVARGA (Regorafenib) - ONGOING PATIENT EXPERIENCES

Hello all! Just started Stivarga today. Took all four pills of first dose about five minutes ago. So far so good! :) Since no one has posted on this thread for a while, I will try to share my experiences and keep it going. I'm thankful for everyone who has shared so far. I am putting lotion on my fe...

Re: FOLFIRI + Erbitux, need your experience

Treatment was a fail for me even though I developed a terrible rash (postules, welts, redness, itching, bleeding, etc). Desonide, a steroid cream, miraculously helped clear the rash by about 70 percent after only a few days. Chemo regime determined a fail as CEA climbed from beginning of treatment a...

Re: The Miracle that cleared my Erbitux rash!

Glad I can help. I looked extensively on the internet and couldn't find much hope. Even a chemo nurse told me it would be futile to go to the dermatologist. So thrilled to find Desonide. Not only did it dramatically improve my rash, it stopped the itching, too! God bless and I pray your treatment is...

The Miracle that cleared my Erbitux rash!

It was three days before my daughter's eighth grade graduation. I was sitting in a dermatologists office, my face full of red raised bumps and acne-like pustules that hurt and itched. I had only received two erbitux treatments and this nightmare was the result. At first, the dermatologist gave me li...
