Frenchie, here's to 5 more years :D Sophy, your pups are adorable!! Skypup, I'm doing well. New treatment (Gemzar & Abaxane) is working. My numbers are going down. Bad news, onc says I have bilateral cancers...colon & pancreas. Oh well, nothing I can do about it except go on. Missing Gwen :(...

Good morning! :D CT scan showed no changes, stable. Liver & gallbladder normal. Lung nodule 4mm, no changes. Tumor growing near left kidney has no growth. However my CEA is 62, CA19 1,472. Yesterday new chemo is Gemzar & Abastine for pancreatic cancer. I had these meds last Oct with progress...

It's posts like this that give us stage IV people hope.

I still have 4 to go. The DX date coincides with wedding anniversary date, so probably would plan a big trip.

There are always promising treatments in the news, but many times they are at the research level and years and years away from a commercial product, if it comes through (or even makes it to) trials.
