My mom only did one round of lonsurf. She passed away the day was due to start her 2nd round.
Her heart was to weak ....

I don't have to much info. My mom started the pills on Wed. So far she's just really really tired. She felt this way before starting the chemo and I'm sure this isn't helping

My mom has not started the xilonix trial. She is on the one thru karmanos.
She has been on it for 1 week and is tolerating it well.

On Folfori and Stivarga my mom sounded like she had a permanent case of larangitis. Now that's she's done with chemo her voice has come back

The doctors don't feel that a reduction in dose would be beneficial for my mom due to her reactions to the chemo. He is pulling her off and trying to find a clinical trial.

I hope this chemo works for someone , unfortunately my mom wasn't one of them

I printed out the information on Tas-102 for the doctor on Friday, as well as lowering her dosage, which will hopefully help. That chemo stuff is brutal. I would rather have her ENJOY her time with us than sitting /sleeping on the couch all day.

My mom has to much cancer in her for a hipec surgery. We were hoping the chemo would shrink / slow down the growth enough for surgery. I will look into clinical trials.

I want her out of Oakwoods system, but mom likes the dr and won't go. I can fly her anywhere around the country, won't go, I sorta understand the not leaving the state due to family being here, but not going to u of m ?!? All I can do is support her and her decision ..
