Wow thanks for that article I was told otherwise from the social worker here at the hospital. I have both home nursing and a pharmacy that delivers to my home (IV meds and hydration).

Rhealiza remember your dr's work for you. You know your body. Most should agree. As far as meds being addictive I hi k a lot of dad's confuse an addiction with a dependency. I depend on all my meds just as a diabetic depends on his insulin. My dose hasn't changed in 8 yrs, and works fine. Hope that ...

Anytime! I also deal with chronic pain. I've found that with my anxiety in check my pain isn't anywhere near as bad!

Info for people with Medicare

My past 2 hospital stays although I've been admitted it's been under an observation status. When under observation status it doesn't use any of your Medicare hospital days. This will make things a lot easier on me!

Praying for you and your daughter. That's no fun at 25 yrs old. I know it doesn't change thing but I can relate. I started my journey with colon cancer at 18yrs old.

It is! I miss my wife and kids!! Not to mention it's sunny and 80deg out and I've been in a bed since Monday!

Just got ct scan results. No hernia was found however I've got a loop in my small bowel right behind my stoma. I'm gonna be going home tomorrow with an abdominal binder. Unfortunately the way it's looped it may cause obstructions (which we all know are no fun). If that happens they'll have to do sur...
