Re: Withering away without help

Hi. Wow this thread got long fast! Thought I would add my two cents too. I have a daughter with pretty serious mental health issues. Thankfully she is very aware and understands when she is having episodes. Just about every symptom you have mentioned she has had. For her, it is anxiety. Through the ...

Re: Sick to my stomach and a nervous wreck

I feel for you. Been through a lot of what you are going through now. Yeah, its scary. Waiting I think is the worst part because all those negative thoughts gain strength the more you wait. Personally, I think you are awesome for doing the follow up, getting the appointment for second opinion. All o...

Re: Lynch syndrome -ovary issues

I just found a much smaller cyst or mass from follow up CT. My Onc wants the ovary out. Awaiting CA125 and ultrasound results but he thinks it is best to just get it out. It is complex vs simple if that means anything to you. I don't think I would want a cyst that big hanging around. Wouldn't want a...

Re: New scan ... Waiting

And hey thanks for asking. It's not like I can talk about it to family. I am the strong one. And 'friends' didn't even ask how the appointment went. Feels kind of lonely.

Re: New scan ... Waiting

Well results are in. Not as good as I had hoped. Found a complex mass in right ovary. Not happy about it. Nurse said that complex isnt the best news. Doc sent me for CA125 marker with follow up cea and some ultrasounds. Worst case it is a recurrence, middle of the road would be a new cancer or best ...

Re: I need to talk

My mom last year went to emergency room very concerned about passing blood. I was diagnosed stage 3C. She has mild diverticulitis. I had no blood. She had Lots of blood. I have a good friend that trusted Dr Google. She shouldn't have. I don't think anyone should. Find a doctor you respect and let hi...

Re: New scan ... Waiting

Thanks all. Wait is down to 6 hours. Ugh. My doc has the See Your Chart application on his portal. That's where I read my labs from. It has my mammogram from months ago but not my CT. Makes me even more nervous that it isn't posted. Could be a backlog. Could be that They put CTs in after the appt Co...

New scan ... Waiting

Going to be a long week. 3 months ago my cea doubled. Was 1.6 went to 3.9. Doctor pushed it off to new lab, the test isn't accurate, etc. just did blood work and now 4.1 and waiting on my six month CT. This just does not get easier. So my CT scan at my new doc I had to drink two bottles of Barium. B...

Re: Abdomen ok but a spot on my lung

Hi Helen. Sorry to hear that you have more worrying ahead of you. Wonder if it could be a remnant of some infection in the past.

I have my scan coming up this week so I will be right there with you.

Take care. Hope you get definitive answers soon.

Helen

Re: Scaning pooping and worried

Hi there. Well at least it's over. Hope you get the results soon and the cea is just a weird lab difference. I get cea checked every 3 months. It was 1.7 after chemo then 1.6 then 1.6. Then I moved to Florida and have new lab and docs. Jumped to 3.9 in September. Just had blood draw today. Hoping fo...
