Re: 7.5 years stage 4B; now NED for 21 months!

Steve, That's great news. You were DX'ed about the same time I started posting on this board. I was wondering how you were doing and am so glad that things are going great for you. My husband has been NED for a bit over 9 years now. Never thought we would ever get here. Hoping that NED is the only t...

Re: New here

How you feel now is completely normal. Cancer, even post treatment and surgery when you declared NED can consume you. It's on your mind all the time and extremely hard to shake. Everybody deals with it, in time, in their own way. Just wanted to let you know that I understand exactly what your going ...

Re: Hello Again!

Sounds like they should do some genetic testing on you. Did they do testing on your Father when he had colon cancer?

Your in my prayers!

my husbands fluctuated from 2.4 to 5.7. They monitored him for 5 years. He has been cancer free for 9 years now. I wouldn't worry.

Re: Huge High Grade Dysplasia Polyp

When my husband had his scope that found his tumor/polyp, they said there was a lot of very high grade dysplasia and the polyp could not be removed via the scope procedure. He told us because of the dysplasia and the polyps size, he believed it was cancerous. He was correct, it was cancer. It howeve...

Re: Diagnosed with colon cancer

We also were shocked when we heard the news. My husband also had a pretty healthy lifestyle. It's a hard think to accept. I always though cancer happened to other people, not me or my family. I was humbled!

Re: Surgery tomorrow! Need positive vibes

I'm glad they are doing genetic testing. Do you and your brother have the same doctors?

Praying and hoping that the adrenal growth is not cancer and can be dealt with easily.

Keep me posted!

That is such great news! I do hope and pray that your brother has the same good outcome! As far as the adrenal gland thing. We'll just hope it's nothing to concerning. Keep me posted on your brother's findings. Because you and your brother have this, did they do genetic testing? Just a thought. Once...
