Re: Our dear Marc (lohidoc)

Marc, you were one of my heroes - even though we only met through forum & email, I got to know your honesty, willingness to investigate, bravery and compassion/willingness to help. I wish I met you while stile alive.... This must be a great loss to family and friends - my heartfelt condolences a...

Re: Cheesehead & oxi meet again

All: thank you @Laurettas: yes, it seems I've come to terms with things a bit more, which is good. @Michael: thanks for your concern and posted experiences - as I said, I got neuropathy before despite Ca/Mg. The current hospital is one of two specialized cancer centers in our country, involved in re...

Re: Cheesehead & oxi meet again

Thanks all!... I'll try and keep pushing those stats ;) @Belle, yes, I've had at least 2 clinical trials, one with Regorafenib, the other one I can't recall. However, out of options on any possible new ones. @kennyt-wisted: our hospital actually stopped calcium+magnesium unless neuropathy presented ...

Hi all, Long time absent again - surfacing to let you know how it goes here in the House of Cheese. Unfortunately, my previous chemo, irinotecan, started failing (detected on CT while admitted for blockage... argh) and the onc told me I was out of options. That news certainly was devastating even th...

Hmmm, used to be an IT Auditor for a big financial company, including doing some penetration testing which was great fun. Before that: self-employed software developer and university.

Nerd all the time - just ask my wife ;)

Hoping the BBQ will happen out there!

CRGuy, I missed the original post, but whatever happened, hope you dealt with it as well as you could and can leave the ugly stuff behind you. Keep hanging in there. Re: New here - starting inrinotecan

Haven't had diarrhea during/directly after TX thanks to atropine injections with transfusion. My stomach is currently getting upset all the time but no diarrhea; usually had cramps, perhaps mild diarrhea after about 7 days. IIRC, doc said to take loperamide/imodium for that.. I'm unusual in that I w...

Cheesehead doing ok

Hi all, Background: previously fairly active on Colon Club but haven't logged on for a long time. Lohidoc kindly mentioned I haven't posted for a long time, so here another update. I'm doing ok - beginning of 2013 I had growing disease after regorafenib & failing liver functions. Fortunately was...

Brief check in

On Irinotecan now, last available chemo. Physically doing all right-ish... Mentally... just not too happy.

Not too talkative as you may have noticed ;)

Cheers,
Cheese
