Was there any reason why they waited four months to do the surgery not that it means anything, i"m just curious

First of all i have no medical qualifications, i have read up a fair bit on vascular invasion and the fact that you have zero extramural invasion gives a better prognosis ( extramural invasion can sometimes be an indicator of distant mets) The thin wall invasion if im correct may sometimes be called...

You are staged the same as i was T3 N0 M0 in the uk they dont normally offer chemo for this stage (at least that is what i was told) but my pathology report showed some vascular invasion and for this reason i was given for 4 rounds of chemo I might not sure of the real significance of vascular invas...

Hi again Yeah Im from Edinburgh and thanks for the welcome, I had the cancer removed in march with clear margins my staging is T3 N0 M0 with some vascular invasion i have my 1st scan on the 16th october with my reversal being done on the 2nd october Id be interested to hear from anyone who can tell ...

Hello

Just thought id say hello

From scotland uk diagnosed 8/1/13 low lying rectal tumor

5 days radiotherapy followed by surgery 1 week later on the 7th march 2013

chemo started end april 2013 4 rounds of oxy and capceptibine ,ended 16th july 2013

have illeostomy having it reversed very soon
