Re: MSI or MSS

Hi , On the whole I have no complaints about the NHS as it serves most people well irrespective of income . However I see a group of patients badly let down at the moment and that’s MSI patients . As you correctly point out Avastin was removed but not other targeted treatments which as I understand ...

Re: MSI or MSS

Thank you so much everyone . It really makes a difference. Your knowledge is great . I am going to write to the governing body of the NHS to see what their official position now I am better informed and can be more accurate .
Thank you once again .

MSI or MSS

Hi , Can I just ask at what point in the process do you find out the above ? Is it a standard part of the process or do you request it in certain circumstances? Here in the UK no one knows about it . It’s not part of the oncologist conversation and I doubt very much it’s tested for here . Given you ...

Re: Biopsy came back positive. Now what?

I feel for you and it’s a horrible obstacle to climb but it’s exactly what my mum got told . I think you are possibly an excellent responder to chemo but it brings its own issues in detecting where the disease is . Re: Why do I torture myself? Signet Ring Cell Sigmoid Colon

Just because your human . Bound by our humanity. That’s why we do things that unsettle our wellbeing. I think anyway!!! My mum’s other shoe had already dropped way back . They hammered home that she would need to get into the top five percent of chemo responders, then it was an ever lower percentage...

Re: BRAIN METS

Hi ,
Really sorry to hear you have to have more treatment . Crazylife posted recently as her husband had a brain met removed. She got some well thought out replies so you might like to use the search function and read her thread . There was a lot of positive opinions.
Thinking of you ,

You have really big gardens . Unfortunately being anywhere in the commuter belt means we have very small gardens . Still we did get a small burn running through it . I never get house envy but a bit more land would be great . Really sandy soil .
Looks fantastic .
