Re: Lung recurrence update- good news

Great news . Enjoy every minute . My mum felt the lung section was amazing compared to the rest .
We often laugh that some poor junior radiologist is trying to analyse my mum’s scans . No easy task .
Delighted for you,

Re: Worried about recurrence.

Hi , That is how my system reacts to stress and to date I have not had a cancer diagnosis. However I do think there is a wee message in there to build in a bit of relaxing time . Some things obviously can’t be changed overnight but taking time to relax can be done . You sound as though you are doing...

Re: PET scan not good :(. Anybody's surgeon was able to find a 8mm lung nodule via VATS?

Hi,
My mum had one removed at 7mm with uptake .
Surgeon did a good job at removing it . It was cancer and no further problems experienced . All part of the original spread apparently . Just took seven years to show its face .
Hope it all goes well for you .

Re: Liver lung mets rectal cancer UK

One quick question . Was it the oncologist that suggested he was inoperable regarding his lungs ? If so get to an appointment with a thoracic centre of clinical excellence and an appointment with a radiologist who carries out Radio Frequency Ablation . We are in the Uk too . If we had not asked for ...

Re: Vent, anyone else need to?

That behaviour leaves me cold and if there is a willingness to pursue this at this time then you have the measure of the person and I would anticipate more of the same . Maybe one day they will understand and that’s the hope. I think Miss Molly and CR guy have it right . Surrender what you can’t cha...

Re: New user. 4 months after HIPEC, spots on liver and peritoneum, please please help me

Hi , Your are all having a very rough time and as a family we know how dismantling a quick recurrence can be . Sometimes it’s more than one step to NED . He has mounted a response before and may well do again . This happened to my mum and she responded again and had further surgery . I have no knowl...

Re: A cautionary tale

Hi rp1954, I have to say your own input is quite incredible with your wife and I frequently find myself in quite admiration . I am not sure what your own background was or was it a massive learning curve when you entered a “ needs must situation” . However at the same time I would never be able or c...
