Re: Update Well its time for a CT Scan

Answering your question on long term survival. Yes my mum had hit a few recurrence bumps on the road and living a good life despite of them . They became less frequent until the stopped . The last one was removed at 8 mm ! Before it could make an impact really . Five years clear and attribute it to ...

Re: My mum needs prayers

I was uncomfortable when my friend got her morphine increased prior to her requiring it in my eyes but the only aspect I thought about , they have experience in knowing what occurs if they don’t follow that pain management protocol . If...

Re: Rising CEA After 2 1/2 Years on Keytruda

Hi , Around ten years into this my mum’s CEAs are no longer reliable. Something is causing them to intermittently spike . Happening over two years and scans remain clear . They spike for a few months then drop down again . Not sure if it’s attributed to vein issues in her abdomen, post op liver rese...

Re: It's back

Over in the U.K. they are quite relaxed about holidays and delaying treatment for a few weeks in fact it was encouraged with my mum . Initially we did not want to take up the opportunity due to fear but with time my mum started to realise the benefits of it . She also talked about needing time to fi...

Re: Covid 19 vaccine

Hi , They have made a statement that it is safe and “ no prove causal link between the blood clots and the vaccine “ . To be fair literally millions of us in the U.K. have had it . The elderly population mostly got AZ as it so much easier for storage in the GP practices as far as I am aware ! Most h...

Re: Lukewarm to positive?

Could not be happier for you both . Enjoy your trip and long may it last .
I came to the conclusion there are indeed lots of lumps and bumps inside the body particularly after treatment. As long as the radiologist is happy and they are not doing anything you can happily ignore them all .

Re: Covid 19 vaccine

So both myself and my sons got the AstraZeneca vaccine. Was surprised to feel quite ill for 24 hours . My parents had the same one and were fine . Anyway just grateful to have it and there is talk of a third top up in Autumn. The Strain identified in Brazil has arrived in Scotland but contained just...
