He was on Gapapentin for a year and a half was taking up to 6 a day. He said it didn't help enough and was so tired and loopy all the time.

Hubby did 12 rounds of oxi because he would not tell the oncologist how bad his feet were getting. He might be NED right now but is in pain every day of his life the neuropathy has severely limit his life.

I am a caregiver for my hubby. The best advise I got was to start a binder to put test results, insurance, payments, medications, discharge, chemo and all the doctors. I carried it around for the first year like it was a new baby. I had one doctor that refer at times to my binder lol. Hubby has been...

Our doctor told us the kids should have their first colonoscopy at 30 . Son had some issues so he had his at 27 with a precancerous poly . So for him every 3 years now our daughter next year at 30.

We get his port flushed every 6 weeks for the last 1 1/2 years? I was just wondering how long onco saids at least 2 more years.

I have found a good ostomy nurse is worth their weight in gold. My hubby was great knew more than the doctors. Check with your hospital usually they have an ostomy dept.
