Thank you all for the advice regarding this issue, many different options to talk about with the onc, and the one concern I have had being Mets on my lungs (all previous scans have been clear) is of particular concern as well as the blood clots, and I will certainly expect that he has my heart check...

Keep the optimism going, it has helped me keep my knees in the wind for 9 rounds, now the sides are to great to risk being in the wind but at least I was able to do what I love for as long as I could,

Really need to know if anyone has experienced extreme shortness of breath side effects , I have completed 9 rounds and two weeks ago started to experience difficulty catching my breath while doing simple things that I had always been able to do before, such as walking at a regular pace, getting read...

i have all of theses symptoms as well, with the nueruopothy being the worst so they took me off the OXY after round 5, glad to be free of the cold issue as well, but i really dislike the slurred speech,confusion and dropping things i experience a few days after treatment, glad i only have 4 to go.

It has been awhile since I Checked in on this site and I am glad to say that on Monday I will have completed round 9, and will have 3 to go, I have been taken off the Oxaliplatin due to neuropathy in my feet and I will see a neurologist on Monday as well to see about treatment for it since it is not...

3 days off the pump and I have to say I am very pleased this time coming off the treatment, after talking to onc he seems to think I was on too many anti-nausea meds so he had me doing the steroid 3 days after infusion and any one of the 3 anti-nausea meds I wanted to use, it really worked well this...

46 dodge? how did the brake cylinder job go? oh and how are you doing after the first? i spent the day with my kids at a junk yard to get some parts for my sons car before i go in for my 3rd treatment tomorrow. we all had a good time and got quite a few projects done, hope your first one did not end...

i am coming off of week 2, still trying to make sense of everyting, first two days after infusion for me are the worst, totaly out of it, then feel hung over for two days, but it gets better by the end of the week, now trying to see what nausea meds i can do with and without on my off weeks to make ...

back at work today monday and being productive, i did have to take an ativan as i find that it does help with some of my angziety and other feelings of genral depression, even though it does make me tired and a bit confused, also seems as if the side affects are lasting a little longer than the firs...

been a while since i checked in and i am now 3 days post infusion on my second round, i was down just as before for two days, but did make it in to work today, the onc has given me two new meds after my last infusion, i am now on phenergan decadron, zofran, and ativan, the onc say's to take them all...
