Re: NEW THREAD FOR LOVED ONES LEFT BEHIND ONGOING

I am thinking about everyone and hoping you are doing as well as possible.
I still can't believe Pete is gone and I get this sharp pain in my heart everytime I realize he is not coming back to me.It catches my breath and never seems to dull.

You sound so relieved. What a difference one person can make with your care.
I hope things will get better from now on and you can get strong again.

Re: Radiation burn!!!!need help

Have you tried aloe vera gel? It can be used as often as you want I believe because it is not a drug. You can keep it in the refrigerator too. I think ice packs may help you also.

Re: ICU with diarrhea & fever that won't stop

I am sorry to hear your dad is so sick. You say he has moved his bowels 7x, is that still diarrhea? Maybe the fever is from a virus, if his blood work is okay. He is in the best place so he can get hydrated and rest.
Is he having any pain?

Judy, I can't help you, but I have to say this sounds like a really tough time you are going through.
I hope more help is on it's way from others who have gone through this.
Best wishes for finding a solution, Celeste
