I do believe that less water is better. If you can get a good clean out with 4 cups, why use 6 cups? To me the more water the greater the risk of water sticking around and causing issues hours later. That is how my surgeon explained it. Less is more

I dont use anything exciting....typical red bag...or Big Red as I call her :lol: with the 4 ft tubing that comes with it. I have had both types of resections, and while open is more intense, at the 8 week mark I felt prettymuch the same. Stay ahead f your pain esp in the early days, do not wait until it is unbearable. There are no hero stickers. You can ask for break through pain meds if you need them in between doses....
