Re: I can't decide if this Squatty Potty commercial is hilarious or disturbing

I first saw the squatty potty on Shark Tank. I went out and bought one. I got mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It, along with my bidet, makes my life is so much easier. My husband doesn't have any colon issues uses it. He said they squat to poop in a hole in Japan. He experienced it when he was in the...

Re: newly dx t3 rc

Welcome. It's been a while since I checked in. I don't type too much because my fingers have neuropathy (nerve damage) from the chemo. Anyhow, I saw your username and I think you are my age (born in 67?). I was diagnosed with CRC in October of 2012. I did the chemo/rad regimen, then surgery, then mo...

HAPPY!

For the first time in 2 years I received clean CT scans. I didn't realize that my family and I had already prepared ourselves for negative results. It was such a relief to hear that everything looked good! My husband (a Marine, who works on an offshore oil rig) actually cried when I told him. I coul...

Re: Katie obituary if you wish to send your condolences

I'm sure no words will comfort you at this time so I will offer prayers for your lovely daughter. Although I am the one in this fight right now, I have a 26 year old and I think of you and your daughter often when I look at her. I can't begin to imagine your pain. I pray for strength and love for yo...

Re: Had my first colonoscopy. Wasnt good and I am scared.

Sorry, one more thing...My CEA has never changed. It's been steady a .07 since my diagnosis and I went from stage II to stage IV in the 6 weeks after my colorectal surgery and subsequent chemo. It may change for you, but if the doc tells you not to go by it, don't worry about it. Everyone is differe...

Re: Had my first colonoscopy. Wasnt good and I am scared.

Hi Lou, Another Texan here. I'm from Houston. Please read all the tips given, they are all great pieces of advice. If you can, get a second opinion. I had 3, and all 3 had different treatment options. I have family at MD Anderson so I chose to have my treatment there. I love having all the doctors I...

Re: Cherish

My condolences to you Olivia. My mom has been so important to me and helpful that I can't imagine losing her at this point in my battle. I just hope you find solace in the fact that she is now able to rest.

Sincerely,
Vida

Re: Toilet fatigue

I always regret not putting on disposable underwear when I know I'm going to be in the car a while, so I've tried to remember to do so. It has saved me (and my car seats) a few times. It's a bummer (pun?) but it's what we have to live with.

Re: Bad day, need my CC friends

My wbc count was .6 after treatment #6. I had my first neulasta injection after that treatment and 4 days later I was back in range. I did have a little chest pain and back pain (which I was warned about) but I've since had my second injection and no pain. Thanks to those who believe that stage IV i...

Re: Stage IV CRC Prognosis

I'm going to agree with everyone else....she probably shouldn't have stopped after 2 rounds...you want them to keep shrinking and if the chemo is shrinking them, then keep on. If it is her choice to stop then she must know what the outcome is going to be. It sounds like she has read about it. It sou...
