Who’s cheering for the Astros? Or at least Mancini?

Impressive for a young CRC survivor to be playing in the world series! Thought if any group could appreciate his story this group could.

Couldn't attend CALL ON CONGRESS? You can still have an impact. Act TODAY!!!

Today, 100+ survivors and caregivers will be visiting congressional offices representing millions of CRC survivors and those who didn't win their battle. Despite being the largest turn out to date, we still do not have all fifty states covered  but you, your friends and your loved ones can he...

Re: CT Wardrobe Disparities

Mine just requires no metal. So I always wear yoga pants, sweatshirt, gloves and furry socks for all my scans. There is a vent that blows right in my hands and I'm always cold. I look pretty strange when I stop for breakfast, considering it's usually 90 degrees and sunny in my scan days, but I don't...

, BUTT we both agreed that beer and chocolate actually ARE legitimate food groups. Miss her. Cheers bro' Miss her too! Looking at my first post is a little sad, it was Gaelan, Belle and Starbuck30 were all there. Of course CRguy wasn't first but we shortly commiserated over FOLFOX treatments togeth...

2015 Call on Congress may be over, but you can still help

This week was wonderful time in Washington DC. Reunited with some wonderful friends, made new ones, shared many many hugs, and yes shed a few tears for those we've lost (though dancing to Belle's favorite song "Red Solo Cup" did bring a few smiles). As always it was a wonderful experience ...

Re: For our Belle

Pam did I wonderful job on this video and was able to share it with Belle a few weeks ago.
So many images show how truly full of life she was. I only wish it included a soundtrack of her laugh too, which was so infectious.

Re: Typing through tears....our belle Belle

I'm still in shock, though I too knew this was coming for day. I've toasted her with a glass of wine and a bad blue martini (couldn't decide which was our drink since we've share both) The one comfort I have is knowing she peacefully crossed the finish line of her marathon. For those going to Call o...

Re: For Stage III's: NED for how long now?

5 years ago today, I woke up from first colonoscopy and made a joke to my husband that "it feels like I just left you" in the waiting room. he respond, 'Nope you've been gone 20 minutes" that is the moment I knew something was terribly wrong, the tears on my doctors face confirmed it....

Re: thinking of you, BELLE

My husband is from NOLA, though you can't tell from his accent.

If anyone wants save my son and I from having to visit all the Texas representives alone this year, I'd let you use any accent you want... Good thing my boots are well broken in, we're gonna be doing a lot of hiking this year.

CRGuy-

How's your Texan accent? Come on down to DC in March and you can help me cover the Lone Star state. And you can wear the glasses too!

CRguy- the first time I remember really hearing Another one bites the dust was at my oldest brother wedding when he dragged me to the dance floor because he saw I wasn't dancing.

Re: O/T not been here Rambling...in a while

Bev- I've been crazy busy! Which is not new, unfortunately! oldest crossed over to Boy Scouts tonight and we celebrated with BBQ and cake... Which means I'm still up because my semicolon is protesting, fat and sweets in one meal! So I thought I'd check in and see how the club is hanging together. Se...
