Zaltrap and headaches

Has anyone got headaches from zaltrap? We are monitoring my blood pressure and it is fine. But I get this bad migraine/headache 2 days after disconnect from the pump. It is really bothering me, trying to see if others had this. Avastin never bothered me.

Re: Lung spread

Thank you guys for this valuable information. I had one small lung met last year that 4 rounds of folfiri with avastin almost completely killed it. I had surgery to remove it. These mets now are all under 1cm so they are tiny. I will approach it with my oncologist about the rfa instead of radiation....

Lung spread

I just completed my 2nd liver resection and was clean for 3 months. Now it has come back to my lungs via 5 to 10 small spots between both sides of my lungs. My oncologists plan is to do 4 rounds of folfiri with zaltrap, then seek surgery if possible, if not SBRT. I don't have experience with zaltrap...

Re: 2014 member update -- for all of us--please post!

I haven't posted in awhile. I have since finished another 4 rounds, gearing up for my 2nd liver resection Jan 8th at MDA to remove 2 very small spots on my liver yet again. My lungs and abdomen/pelvis still are clean. Hoping this is my last surgery for this "crap". Excited to have another ...

Re: Scans, who reads them?

I read my own and can understand them. A radiologist reads them and then my oncologist pulls them up with the scan and shows me and read its and explains it against the pics.

I have never had a bad experience at mda. His pa is also very knowledgable and are on the same page.

How many liver resections can you have?

I am finishing up my last round of chemo preparing for my second liver resection jan5th,and was wondering how many can you have before they say no more.

I have minimal scar tissue and seem to develop my spots in good location.

genetic mutation help

Recently, MDA was able to test my lung resection tumor for over 50 cancer gene mutations. It showed mutations for the APC and KRAS, which we already knew. But it showed another one on the TP5 mutation. Has anyone had experience with this mutation? I researched it and it is basically a death sentence...
