Re: I CUT MY FINGER... because of this cancer .... terrible

I agree with the posts of Baglady, Diane T, Annalexandria, soConfused, kims, mm66ny, Laura and other similar posts. Some of the replys to Fede do seem like personal attacks to me. I would think that it would make newbies shy about joining this forum lest they be judged or attacked for their genuine...

Now read all this with a southern accent since that is my native tongue. :D

LOL. I love it! I agree to all you say and the WAY you say it (so classy). I also speak with a southern accent :)

Re: OT Administrators and Moderators

Well since you guys are suddenly so big on signatures, I think we would all like to see you give more info about yourselves because it could be misleading people. Some people don't even have signatures , will they be warned or banned too? Misleading in what way? Well if everyone needs to have an ac...

Re: my expectations of cclub

Sherri56, you voiced my view very well also. Let's allow all ethnic groups and personalities here and make them welcome, not just those who deal with this DAMN disease in a certain, PC(according to CC members) manner. Yes agree with you and Sherri completely. I am still scratching my head trying to...

Re: I CUT MY FINGER... because of this cancer .... terrible

Clearly people have a problem with Fede. Grow up and don't read his threads. I don't understand why people feel the need to post nasty stuff. You don't have to open his threads. I haven't seen this level of bullying on any message board I've ever belonged to. Yea, MAJOR level of bullying going on h...

Re: Grape seed extract (a dose of good news)

"A colorectal cancer cell can have upwards of 11,000 genetic mutations – differences from the DNA in healthy cells. Wow!! Funny thing is, grape seed extract usually is considered a potent anti-oxidant. It seems many substances can have both anti-oxidant and pro-oxidant properties, or one or th...

Re: Grape seed extract (a dose of good news)

Sounds too good! As colorectal cancer gets more aggressive, treatment with grape seed extract is even more effective (Medical Xpress)—When the going gets tough, grape seed extract gets going: A University of Colorado Cancer Center study recently published in the journal Cancer Letters shows that th...

Re: WORDS...!!! !!!

I do a fair amount of work with clinics that offer HBO therapy. I do advanced wound care. HBO therapy has been proven to be beneficial to patients with certain chronic wounds. There is a list of conditions that HBO therapy is approved for. If your condition is not on the list and insurance won't pa...

Re: WORDS...!!! !!!

What he means by Chronification is to turn this disease into a chronic condition. Someone else had clarified that earlier. My DH's liver surgeon has said this to us in the past. They are hoping through surgery and different treatments that CRC can become a chronic and manageable disease like some o...

SkiFetch - My answers to your questions are the as yours. I've always been outspoken to people about my colon cancer. Many friends have gone in for their colonoscopies because of me. But, some friends having "issues" didn't go in for tests until they ended up in the ER. They didn't want t...

Re: Help with Confronting a Behemoth

I'm surprised anyone is still prescribing ertibux without testing for KRAS status. The relationship between erbitux and KRAS satus is widely known, and there would seem to be no excuse not to incorporate that in the treatment. If I were an oncologist I would be embarrassed to use erbitux without KR...
