Hawk, Can not agree more with the other posters. The first days are the worst with many questions that can be reduced to "why me?" These questions will make you crazy with worry and doubt. This is not your fault and there is nothing known at this moment that could have prevented the diseas...

I am of no help here since we do not share the same hospital. It does seem like a long time to wait for results post surgery. As you said, though, the hospital is backed up quite a bit. I would keep checking with the surgeon's office asking for any updates. Best regards, Art
