Black Tea for Bad, Stinky GAS

This will sound very strange, but black tea has helped two of us on the board get rid of the really bad, putrid gas that many suffer post treatment. After trying fiber, probiotics, dietary restrictions, enzymes, etc with no success, I reached out to another board member who was suffering similar iss...

Re: Vaginal narrowing - yep I said it!!

Is there anyone that makes it through F......ing radiation without destroying their vagina? My experience was the same despite being warned upfront by people on this board. The estrogens and dilators did not help me much as the canal was melted shut on the top half by radiation and the bottom portio...

Re: The truth about poo: we’re doing it wrong

Sadie sue,
Try some different fiber. I use psyllium husk and it works wonders for me. Metamucil caps did not help me. Two T of my Indiische fiber with yogurt every morning keeps me going. Amy

Re: Digestive system in overdrive

Try fiber. I recently had those symptoms and ended up in E R with a blockage. They prescribed fiber. I've been using some Indian stuff for a few weeks and things are much better. Use a higher quality brand. Metamucil didn't seem as effective. Best thing is the gas and bloating has stopped. Might als...

Re: Streptococcus Gallolyticus anyone?

I was hospitalized with a blockage last week but no physical reason found. Colon simply stopped working. I suspect the root cause is some type of infection as well resulting in malabsorption and change in salts needed for correct osmotic pressure. Doctors prescribed fiber as the solution to the prob...

Re: Incontinence

Have you tried Imodium to slow thing down and rice to thicken things up. Bananas help me and greens always make me go. I stay close to the pot when I eat salad.

Re: Excessive Gas

This is a problem for quite a few of us...or in Kenny's case a blessing. I also find great joy in paying it forward on my kids. Butt, to the issue....I think all the damage to our systems are the root cause of the excess gas. Look up small intestine Bactrial overgrowth. Also it could be radiation da...

Re: gas+++

Me too. I think I could actually power a small city. I too have tried everything to include diet, probiotics, enzymes, semethicon, etc. None of it has helped. I believe in my case the surgery an d radiation have damaged the bowels in some way altering the function. So now I think bacteria are prolif...
