Re: New Blog Post - "Surviving the Day"

It is a wonderful article! I've shared this with my friends and family since a lot of them do not really know or understand what I am going through.

Re: Change your life....

When my onc told me I had only a few months to a year left, I quit my job, spent two weeks spending time with my boyfriend and dog and then flew to my parents' native country. I've been here for about two weeks now. I am trying to see as much family members as my health allows and then just try to t...

Re: Cancer Sniffing Dog

While my puppy is not a big crotch sniffer, in the last two months, she would suddenly sniff my crotch constantly. It was annoying and embarrassing. Turns out that I had another tumor growing in my pelvis area. She would sniff, look at me and whine.

Re: BFF (fur/feathers/fins) HONOR ROLL

My sweet baby girl Terra. This was her puppy pic. She will be 6 months in February. I miss her so much. I didn't want to bring her with me here in the Philippines because I didn't want to put her through the whole quarantine thing. I really hope I get the chance to see her in her adult age. https://...

Re: Expiration date

Thanks everyone for the thoughts. I am now in my parent's native country (Philippines). Since I don't have other options left I am trying the folk remedies. I know a lot of people on this forum would frown upon what is considered alternative treatments but at this point, I've come to accept that if ...

Expiration date

I had been taking a break from this forum because I had been depressed at the loss of Ilona and Lauren who are both in my age group. At my last appointment with my oncologist to discuss the results of my latest PET scan, he had informed me that I only had several months to a year left. So I'm packin...

Re: ovarian mets

I had mets to both ovaries and they were removed. Did not need HIPEC. Since I am only 30, my gynecologist who is aware of my cancer diagnosis has placed me on HRT to avoid early onset of osteoperosis. I am currently on anti-depressants since the lost of my baby-making abilities really did a number o...

Re: Just venting

Your husband's reaction sounded a lot like my boyfriend's. Except I understood earlier on in our relationship that he has a phobia with hospitals and clinics. He visited me during my hospital stays but never stayed overnight. I knew that coming to the hospital was stressful enough for him but having...
