Everyone has given you some great advice . I also regualarly drank Gatorade with glutamine . I don't know if it helped but I can say chemo was pretty easy for me. I worked through it the entire time, exercised, ate a lot ( gained weight) never threw up or felt to bad. The cold thing was bad, my eyes...

Scans today. Yes after three years it still makes me nervous ! So hear goes....three years and going strong ! Cancer free ! I remember the first day at the oncologist office when he handed me some not very encouraging statistics. I handed them back and said I am not a stat...I am me and I will beat ...

I would definetly inquire about the ct scan. Post chemo I have had no pet scans just a ct every 6 months. Dr says if anything looks fishy we will order a pet scan. My insurance has been aligned and I actually feel better not exposing myself to the pet scan.
