If you're serious about having a family, definitely bank some of those bad boys! The first time I was dx, the doctors really pushed me to bank sperm. I was 28 and beside being financially unprepared, it wasn't my top priority to have kids anytime soon. Fast forward about 2 years, a year out of treat...

I was dx with stage III colon cancer in 2004- 12 cycles of FolFox 30 radiation treatments + chemo pack. Dx for a second time in 2005-completed 7 of 12 cycles of FolFuri + 25 radiation treatments. Completed everything Oct 2006. Been great since! Tell your man to hang in there.

Just wanted throw my 2 cents in around the whole male reproduction issue. Quick background, I am a 2 time stage III colon cancer survivor. WHen I was frist dx my docs suggested that I bank sperm. I was so overwhelmed with teh cancer thing not to mention medical costs I couldn't deal with teh thought...
